Quiksilver Go Receives 2009 WebAward Honor

The Quiksilver Go site was recently awarded the 2009 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development from the Web Marketing Association, a prestigious industry organization dedicated to excellence in Internet marketing and development. The group's WebAward Competition is the premier award recognition program for Web developers and marketers worldwide.

Quiksilver Go is a full-frame website promoting the iconic surf brand's new Diamond Dobby Boardshort Technology. The site features advanced Flash elements, exclusive videos, 360-degree product views, technical illustrations, and photos of Quiksilver riders such as Kelly Slater, Dane Reynolds and Clay Marzo.

"Our goal was to create an interactive experience that show cases the product features and technology," said Cuker Interactive's Creative Director/Marketing Director Aaron Cuker. "We wanted to raise the bar by creating an impactful branded product presentation that takes Quiksilver's style to the next level."

The Quiksilver Go WebAward was presented to Cuker Interactive on September 16th, 2009. You can check out the details here. Other distinguished WebAward recipients included campaigns for Scion, Sony, Lance Armstrong's Livestrong.com, and the American Red Cross.
