An Enchanting Philosophy

It turns out that Cuker shares something with Alltop.com founder Guy Kawasaki besides a love of Apple products. Apple's former chief evangelist recently published a new book called Enchantment where he argues that today's businesses must go beyond simply satisfying the customer. This quality that he calls "enchantment" can be cultivated by focusing on three areas, he argues - likability, trust and product. More than a run of the mill book about how to win friends or influence people, it's about encouraging others to share your vision and help you manifest it. He advocates tapping into people's passions, staying committed to the core mission, and remaining trustworthy and likeable throughout the process. Whether that's enchantment or not, we couldn't agree more.
